Gelsosomo’s Highland opened its doors in July of 2013, becoming the 9th store in the popular franchise. Established in 1979, the Gelsosomo’s brand has become a household name in the Chicagoland, Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan areas. Although every Gelsosomo’s location is unique by design, they all share the same award-winning menu.
Our brand new Highland location mixes a traditional, family dining atmosphere with a state of the art, sports bar experience. Just as you walk in, your eyes cannot help but focus on the 19" HDTV screens, as well as the various sports memorabilia décor displayed throughout the entire bar area; all of which rests on the backdrop of a large hand painted mural, proudly showcasing the Gelsosomo’s brand. For beer lovers, each booth in the bar area is equipped with their own, state of the art, beer tapper and touch screen. Once an order is placed, guests will be able to serve themselves as often as they wish, thus eliminating any wait time. Providing an excellent, yet truly unique customer experience is the main focus of our Highland Store.
